The “Plot: ‘The Note,’ an Interactive Story” slideshow demonstrates to students how the unique personality of a character drives the plot. The core of this slideshow is a story titled “The Note,” which is told from the perspective of three very different children. Through class exercises and discussions, students participate in creative problem solving, applying that experience when writing their own version of “The Note.”

Teacher Tip! Please preview the slideshow and educator guide before sharing with your students so you can determine which activities and exercises will best meet the needs of your class.
