Every story has a beginning, middle, and ending, whether it is a fictional story or a real-life story. The “Story Structure” slideshow introduces students to how stories are constructed—with beginnings, middles, and endings—and explains the purpose of each section. Two Let’s Write! activities, plus a class discussion, that engage students in thinking about story structure are included at the end of this slideshow.

Teacher Tip! Please preview the slideshow and educator guide before sharing with your students so you can determine which activities and exercises will best meet the needs of your class.
