The NCBLA believes that we are all responsible for our nation’s children and their education. We believe that every child has the right to a free public education, and has the right to be taught to read to the best of his or her individual abilities. We believe that every child and adult has the right to free and fair access to information and story. If you share our beliefs, the links and pages below will give you the tools to advocate for young people, literacy, literature, libraries, reading rights, the arts, and education. If we all work together, we can bring these issues to the forefront of our national agenda.

This is a call to action.  We invite you to become part of the solution.
